• The diameter of the large floor globe is 25 inches.
• The globe features a contemporary political map, but with a retro design. The patchwork map comes in muted shades, with beige used to mark water. The scale of the map allows for high level of detail, including minor cities.
• The Byzantine-style stand is made of natural wood - beech or hazel. The surface is polished to a high luster.
• The globe sphere rotates in any direction in all planes - this is a unique feature of all our globes. You can easily spin the globe to find the needed fragment of the map.

General characteristics of 25-inch floor globes

Our floor globes come with the following features:

• The globe map is designed in full accordance with world’s cartographical standards, including scaling, color palette and conventional symbols. The only exception is decorative globes.
• The 25-inch diameter sphere is hand-coated with special banner film on which the map is printed. The map surface is additionally laminated for damage protection.
• The globe stand is characterized by high stability. Depending on its type, the height varies from 27.5 to 37.5 inches. The stand can be made of fiberglass, cast marble, metal or natural wood.
• The globe sphere rotates in all planes due to a unique construction of the stand - even the most expensive mass-production globes can’t boast such a feature. However, the durable coating of the sphere excludes any damage to the map. Rotation in all planes allows you to turn the globe with ease quickly finding the right fragment of the earth sphere. Your globe adjusts to you, not vise versa!
• The large diameter of the sphere (25 inches) allows for high-detail display of the map. Whatever map type you choose, it’s guaranteed to be exceptionally informative.
• The globe is delivered dismantled: a stand (assembly may be required) and two hemispheres. During the assembly, the Southern hemisphere is laid onto the rollers inside the cup of the stand and the Northern hemisphere is fitted onto it according to the placement of notches and marks. The construction is fixated with a strainer bar and a screw. There is a detailed instruction to facilitate the assembly.
